After 38 years, Pastor Bud Olszewski retired as head pastor of the Rittman Grace Brethren Church in 2021. (That's a long time!) He and Ann met at Grace College and married in 1974. They have three children (all married) and six grandchildren. Bud graduated from Grace College with a B.A. in Psychology & Sociology. Ann graduated from Bowling Green State University with a B.S. in Nursing. Pastor Bud got his Masters of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary.
Their first pastorate was serving as Associate Pastor at Wooster, Ohio. Pastor Bud next became Senior Pastor at Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and was here since that time.
Pastor Bud is known for being the "community pastor". His length of service and the fact that he is involved in so many Rittman activities has helped him build good relationships within the community. The Released Time Bible classes and the Rittman Soccer programs are just a couple of the areas that Pastor Bud has started and continues to have influence. He and Ann's commitment to the Rittman Schools is also well documented. Pastor Bud coaches and serves in various other ways for the schools, while Ann spent nearly 25 years as the school district's nurse. Their youngest daughter, Kim Charton, also currently teaches at the high school.
